Barn Quilt Program
In 2020, the Young Harris Barn Quilt Project began when the City was accepted into the Georgia Placemaking Collaborative. This project recognizes the City's rich cultural heritage, along with the heritage of the Appalachian region. Those who reside in the 30582 and 30546 zip codes are encouraged to participate in the Barn Quilt Program. Review the Program details in the link below and complete the application, which can be dropped off at the Young Harris City Hall, or mailed to Young Harris City Hall, P.O. Box 122, Young Harris, GA, 30582.
Porchfest 2023
Artists, local craftspeople, and those who sell handmade items are encouraged to sell their creations on Sunday, September 17, 2023, from 1-5 pm at Porchfest, which will be a day of music, food, and fun! Please complete the vendor application and return by August 17, 2023, with a check. Also encouraged to join are food trucks, those who have hand grown items, and local non-profits that provide a community service.
