Road Closure, March 9, Brasstown Creek Road

C.W. Matthews Contracting Company (CWM) would like to inform you that we will close Brasstown Creek Road on Monday, March 9th, 2026, to allow for construction activities associated with the project.

 A detour route will be in place and displayed with proper signage. The detour will be in place for 30 days in accordance with the executed GDOT contract for this project. Variable message boards will be installed to notify the traveling public of the upcoming road closure/detour in advance. All tapers, signs, and channelization devices will be installed per MUTCD Standards and Georgia Department of Transportation Specification 150.
